I am constantly asked by parents how they can BEST help their students learn English. Here is my advice...
NEVER stop speaking the home language/ native language at home. READ to your children, and read WITH your children in your native language. Why? There is no greater gift you can give to your children than the gift of bilingualism and for them to be literate in more than one language as well.
